2018 Red Hills Cellars Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Made by Tony Rynders
A more fruit forward vintage, this wine is a blend of grapes from some of the best Pinot Noir sites in the Willamette Valley. Aged 16 months in 60% new French Oak. It is a lively, red-fruited, approachable style of Pinot Noir with bright acidity. It is a perfect match for tomato-based sauces and many poultry dishes such as Eggplant Parmigiana, chicken fried rice, pork sliders and pasta primavera.
Our 2018 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is our third vintage with only 60 cases produced. As with our previous vintages, we wanted to keep it close to our heart as we do our family.
This vintage has been dedicated to Lawrence E Kangiser, our Grandfather. Born to a family of Oregon pioneers, his rough and tumble upbringing created a work ethic that was unrivaled. He taught us the value of "good, clean dirt" and that if you didn't have it on your hands, you weren't doing the job right.
That work ethic is continued at Red Hills Cellars where we strive to bring the terroir of our wines to your palate.
